Our Courses
1 - 3 day Courses
Level 1, Level 2, Level 3
We can deliver one of our short courses at your school or students can attend one of our short courses during the school holidays. We require a minimum of 12 students to run a course, with a maximum number of 20 students
Retail Workplace Courses
Level 2 & Level 3
Let us find a retail work placement with one of our retail partners. Students recieve regular visits from the Assessor to ensure sutdents are fully supported throughout thier placement.
Barista Workplace Courses
Level 2 & Level 3
Students complete a 3 day course and then we find the ideal Cafe for them to put their skills into practice.
This course is focussed on practical skills with plenty of opportunity for students to practice their espresso making skills.
Cafe’s are selected in the area that is local to the school or student’s address for convenience.
Gold Star Training has established many working relationships with cafe’s throughout the Auckland region.
Whangarei Barista Cafe Course
Level 2 & Level 3
Students complete a 3 full day course or 6 half day shifts at our new Whangarei Training Cafe located in store at the Salvation Army Family Store. Students learn Barista skills, gain credits and serve real customers. All students are fully supported by their Tutor with minimum student numbers ensuring students have the full attention of the Tutor and more practical practice.
